What connects us isn’t what we do, it’s how we do it.
Connecting Creators is a growth focused movement. No matter your background or what your medium is, we grow through courage, authenticity, vulnerability, service, connection, and hard work. We are a bridge between the filmmakers, musicians, designers, and creators alike. It doesn’t matter what stage in your journey you’re in, as long as you want to be here and are willing to put in the work. The question is, how bad do you want it?
June creator of the month is Zoe Kismet. Since meeting her when we filmed a podcast interview with her and Randy Aguilar, she came to Connecting Creators #4 with the rest of No Future Recordz, and since then have been a huge part volunteering with our events, performing at #6, and being interviewed on a panel with the rest of the label. Zoe is a visionary writer, director, designer, filmmaker, and connector as the creator of Salt Lake Film Club. We had the chance to feature her work and hear more about her process at Connecting Creators #7 that left the room inspired and motivated to push their work to the next level. From the storytelling, characters, world building, and cinematography, Zoe’s work pulls you in and keeps your attention from start to finish.
Her journey as a creator has landed her opportunities in LA crafting social campaigns for brands like Hi-Chew, Rimmel, and Olaplex, as well as working with artists like Trippie Redd and Snoop Dogg. She continues to push the bar with her latest “Show and Tell” events, and her new short film “Recurrence”. Zoe is an inspiring creator and leader in the community you most definitely need to follow.
